  • When are the live sessions?

    The Blind Tasting Bootcamp runs for four weeks with live sessions every Sunday at 1:00 PM EST. Each session is two hours long, giving you focused, intensive training. The dates are: - January 11th - 1:00-3:00 PM EST - January 18th - 1:00-3:00 PM EST - January 25th - 1:00-3:00 PM EST - February 1st - 1:00-3:00 PM EST

  • What if I can’t attend a live session?

    No problem! All sessions are recorded and available for one year, so you can watch on your own schedule. However, we highly recommend attending live to get real-time feedback and participate in the interactive tasting experience.

  • What’s included in the wine kit?

    You’ll receive a curated kit of 12 bottles (375ml each) featuring wines that represent CMS testable grape varieties. We taste four wines per session, carefully selected to build your blind tasting skills systematically.

  • How do I get my wine kit?

    Wine kits are provided through our partner, Master the World. Cost of the kit is included in the course tuition, and once you enroll you will receive an email with how to order your kits. Kits are not available outside the US, but there is an option to purchase the course without the wine kits. If you decide not to purchase a wine kit, or live outside the US we will provide you with a list of wine to purchase separately and an informational email with a video on how to prepare your wines for the live blind tasting sessions.

  • What is the HTDW Method?

    The HTDW Method is our proven approach to blind tasting that focuses on our unique method to quickly and accurately identify wines in a blind tasting. We begin with the structure of the wine and move into Key Indicators which are genetic or wine making traits that are unique to specific wine varieties. This systematic framework eliminates guessing and builds confidence.

She has helped over 200 students pass the Certified Sommelier Exam and teaches for WSET, CSW, and many others. Her ability to bring focused knowledge and real life applications to our programs is invaluable in helping our students succeed. She is the created of the Sommelier Prep Course and the author of the soon to be published textbook on how to prepare and and pass your sommelier exams.
